Do you know that moment when you reached an important goal and you feel just tired and numb instead of overjoyed? Mostly thinking already about what comes next?
I realized that most career related pictures show people climbing up a mountain or at the peak - symbolizing hard work and success - while actually it‘s this moment afterwards that I find most beautiful - when you start hiking downwards. You know you did it, and you feel joyful, confident and grateful - tired, yet energized. You are heading home and downward feels easy. Plus you deeply know now that you can do it again anytime.
I often felt like this when coming back from a bigger workshop. And while the next goal or trip are always around the corner, let‘s just treasure this time a bit more when we achieved something great - especially together with others.
Just stop, and enjoy the amazing view behind and in front of you with pure joy and content.
PS. These pictures from me and my family were taken in beautiful Ramsau, Dachstein ('Roof Stone') Tauern, Austria. The first picture is taken on the mountain, while on the second you see us admiring it gratefully.
